What is Dry Eyes?
Do you suffer from dry and irritated eyes? You're not alone!
20% of all adults suffer from dry eyes. There are many symptoms of this condition, such as burning eyes, feeling tired or experiencing dryness or blurred vision. There can be many reasons why you have problems with dry eyes, and you are far from alone. Dry eyes are common after you turn 35 and your eyes produce less tear fluid. It can also be due to sitting in front of the computer for too long or perhaps working in poor light. Paradoxically, some people may also experience that their eyes feel watery. Whatever discomfort you experience, you should not accept this negative feeling as something new and normal. We can help you!

The examination of your eyes because you suffer from dry eyes is also called Dry Eye Analysis. The examination is done completely without discomfort or pain. While you look into a lamp on our machine, we measure, photograph and evaluate the different parts of your tear fluid. Afterwards, together we will create a plan for you in case you need help. We treat most conditions on site, and as licensed opticians, we can always ensure that you get the help that you specifically need.

Treatment of Dry Eyes
E-Eye is a completely painless treatment for dry eyes that is performed while you lie comfortably in a reclining chair. E-Eye is a light treatment that uses strong pulses of light directed at the patient's eyelids to activate the glands inside the eyelids so that they can once again increase the lubrication of your own eyes. Repeated treatments will be required to achieve the desired results.
