GARRETT LEIGHT CALIFORNIA OPTICAL (GLCO) was founded in Venice Beach, California in 2010 and is run by Garrett along with a group of young, passionate designers dedicated to creating classic eyewear models by combining perfect craftsmanship with timeless aesthetics.
Garrett was born in Venice, California, in 1984. Even as a child, he gained invaluable insight into the eyewear industry through his father, Larry Leight, a legend in the industry and founder of the Oliver Peoples brand. Garrett himself took his first job at Oliver Peoples but quickly discovered that he felt a strong passion for entrepreneurship and a great need to create something himself...
