Theo was started by opticians Patrick and Wim, who both run their own optical shops in Belgium. Today, Wim's three sons run the company from Antwerp. At Theo, unique colorful bows are created in timeless shapes. Designing and producing frames that fit the face perfectly is the company's hallmark. Bågar & Glas is proud to be one of the few stores that can represent this unique brand.
THE STORY OF THEO
THEO was founded in Belgium in 1987, by the Somers family who owned two optical shops. They had long felt a hunger that they could no longer deny. A hunger for glasses that didn't look like every other classic and timeless brand. A hunger for arches that stuck out, that could not be found anywhere else. Together with the designer Patrick Hoet, they decided to produce their own collection of glasses under the name THEO. Their vision was to produce something that had a clear edge, breathed individuality, and had a touch of humor...
