The Blue Note Records & Herbie Hancock - Jacques Marie Mage

Jacques Marie Mage has recently released a collection through a collaboration with BLUE NOTE RECORDS. These limited edition frames are a tribute to one of the most prolific and influential jazz artists in modern music history. The bows are a tribute to the creative legacy of such jazz giants as Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock and many other important artists who at one time or another called Blue Note Records their home.

The HERBIE is the first limited edition frame of the BLUE NOTE RECORDS BY JACQUES MARIE MAGE collection. The bow was inspired by the glasses worn by Herbie Hancock on the cover of the album "Takin' Off", which introduced listeners to the amazing tones of an artist who was at the beginning of what would become an exceptional career in the history of jazz music.

We have chosen to include The Herbie frame as both sunglasses and as regular glasses, the frame comes in three colors and the ophthalmic in two. The Herbie can be found in both of our stores, at Norrlandsgatan 7 and in our new store in Gamla Stan at Kornhamnstorg 51, just two doors from our previous address.
