Legacy 47 is Bågar & Glas’ own eyewear collection — shaped by more than forty years of experience in craftsmanship, fit, and timeless design. The name carries our history: Legacy represents everything we have built and refined since 1982, while 47 is the address where it all began — Kornhamnstorg 47 in Stockholm’s Old Town.
The collection draws inspiration from the surroundings we have lived and worked in for decades. Its colors echo the worn wooden doors, oxidized copper rooftops, and sun-faded facades found throughout Gamla Stan and along Skeppsbron. The models are named after the nearby quarters surrounding the square — names that carry both history and character.
The design language is intentionally restrained. No unnecessary details. No short-lived trends. Instead, the focus lies in the proportions, the balance, and the way the frame naturally meets the face. To us, the smallest adjustments have always made the biggest difference.
Legacy 47 was never created to chase fashion cycles, but to stand the test of time — both aesthetically and in quality. It is, in many ways, Bågar & Glas distilled into its purest form.

A shipping fee of 75 SEK per shipment is charged for orders under 1000 SEK. For orders over 1000 SEK, we offer free shipping within Sweden.
All international orders are charged according to DHL's rates, based on the destination.
Please note that delivery times can normally range between 3 to 15 business days, depending on the product’s availability. However, we always try to deliver you shipment as fast as possible.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided they are completely unused and the original seal or packaging remains intact and undamaged.
The return shipping cost is covered by the customer.
Konsumenter har rätt att ångra köpet inom 30 dagar. I det fall plomberingen på glasögon är bruten gäller inte ångerrätt. I det fall varan är använd och inte längre i oförändrat skick sker avdrag på full återbetalning. Returfrakten bekostas av kunden. I fall av återbetalning, betalas pengarna tillbaka inom 14 dagar från mottagen varan. Konsumenten kan dock få vänta tills dess att varan har kommit åter eller tills konsumenten har lämnat bevis på att varan återsänts.
